At Miami, Carson Beck isn't 'trying to be Superman' anymore
""What are you doing, get off of me!""
""It is 100 percent the worst part in the rehab process," Beck says. "Your elbow is stiff, it's tight, there's scar tissue, and they are trying to move it against your will. It was pretty awful.""
Carson Beck completed eight weeks of daily, painful rehabilitation to restore range of motion in his surgically repaired right elbow. The training staff repeatedly pushed through scar tissue and stiffness to regain flexion and throwing ability. Beck entered Miami after a difficult 2024 season marked by on-field struggles, criticism, and off-field attention over a Lamborghini, NIL earnings, and a public relationship. Coaches and medical staff had to build trust quickly to manage his physical recovery and mental state. Had 2024 gone differently Beck likely would be in the NFL; instead he returned to lead a top-ranked Miami team.
