"One of the glass panels on the garage door was broken and when I looked down on the driveway, the newspaper was sitting there with glass on top of it,"
"They didn't stop or leave any kind of notice,"
"Each time I call, you get somebody different,"
"Our team is actively working on the issue and will let you know when this is resolved,"
Mei Lew reported that a San Francisco Chronicle delivery person broke a panel of her garage door in August, leaving the newspaper on the driveway with glass on top of it. The delivery person did not stop or leave a notice. Lew spent months trying to reach the Chronicle and encountered different representatives on each call without resolution. Lew then contacted KGO's 7 On Your Side, which reached out to the Chronicle. Publisher Bill Nagel replied that the team was working on the issue and later arranged a check to cover repair costs, and Lew expressed gratitude.
