Third of boys think women's rights are unimportant, survey reveals
"I have AI friends and girlfriends, they are always there when you feel bored"
"I talk to an AI app, it makes me feel like I'm not on my own."
The Independent emphasizes on-the-ground reporting across reproductive rights, climate change and Big Tech, rejecting paywalls and relying on donations to fund journalists and investigations. A survey of boys aged 11 to 15 found a third view women's rights as unimportant and 32 percent would consider an AI friendship. More than half (53 percent) find the online world more rewarding than the real world. Many boys turn to chatbots for emotional support, friendship and romance. Respondents expressed distrust of online content and UK politicians (82 percent) and mixed views on feminism, with 54 percent believing boys have it harder than girls.
