Robert Jenrick has dismissed the idea of an alliance with Reform UK and expressed a desire to send its leader, Nigel Farage, into retirement. Though earlier comments hinted at a possible coalition due to concerns about Reform's electoral threat, Jenrick later affirmed complete alignment with Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch, emphasizing the importance of regaining lost voters. He acknowledged frustrations within the party and praised Badenoch's leadership, urging critics to allow her time to turn the party's fortunes around ahead of crucial council elections.
Kemi Badenoch and I are on exactly the same page. Kemi has been very clear there won't be a pact with Reform, and I've said time and again that I want to put Reform out of business.
I want to send Nigel Farage back to retirement. What I want to do, and Kemi feels the same, is bring back those voters that we lost.
