"This deal is a clear demonstration of the effectiveness of strike action and strong negotiation by our members."
"It is significant that RMT has secured a long-term RPI deal that departs from the recent indus"
Transport for London offered an enhanced multi-year pay package raising basic Tube driver pay from £71,170 to a minimum of £77,692 by April 2027, with further increases if RPI inflation remains around three percent or higher. The RMT secured commitments including fatigue-friendly rosters, further talks on staff travel, and a consistent £400 Boxing Day payment. Most Tube station staff will see salaries move from about £45,000 nearer to £50,000 over the three-year offer. The deal prevents pay-related strikes for three years. Aslef has supported the offer and all four unions must ratify it for implementation.
