Richard Tice hits back at C of E criticism of Reform immigration policy
Briefly

Reform UK proposes deporting asylum seekers who cross the Channel in small boats and pledges to withdraw from the ECHR, the 1951 refugee convention, the UN convention against torture and the Council of Europe anti-trafficking convention. The policy would allow deportations to countries including Afghanistan and Eritrea and would send teams of immigration officials into communities to find and remove people who settled here after arriving irregularly. The acting archbishop of York described the proposal as isolationist, short-term and kneejerk. Reform's deputy leader accused the archbishop of interfering in domestic politics. The party has struggled to answer detailed questions about implementation and cost.
We should actively resist the kind of isolationist, short-term, kneejerk in this case, send them home'.
Mr Farage is saying the things he's saying but he is not offering any long-term solution to the big issues which are convulsing our world, which lead to this.
All of it's wrong.
I enjoy the church, I believe in God. But the role of the archbishop is not actually to interfere with international migration policies.
