A topping out ceremony marked the completion of the highest point of the Salisbury Square headquarters for City of London Police. The new purpose-built facilities aim to improve staff health and wellbeing and enable delivery of Policing Plan priorities to keep the City safe, strengthen national responses to fraud, economic and cybercrime, and secure positive outcomes for victims. The building was presented as a tribute to staff professionalism, dedication and public service. The force was graded outstanding for crime recording and good for investigations and response by His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary. A £600 million investment will provide cutting-edge space and technology to speed justice, protect people and businesses, and uphold confidence in the UK's financial system.
