Reform UK has named Lord Malcolm Offord as its first Scottish leader, unveiled by party leader Nigel Farage at an event in Fife. Offord will lead the party into the May Scottish Parliament election as Reform seeks a significant electoral breakthrough in Scotland. Farage said the party could exceed expectations on votes and argued many Scottish voters want change and are frustrated with perceived decline under the SNP. Offord described the contest as a "two-horse race" with the SNP, noted more than 12,000 Scottish members and praised a "really talented group of candidates". The party has one MSP, won a recent council by-election, and several polls suggest rising support.
