"Voters in Gorton and Denton deserve so much more than the failing Labour government or the divisive politics of Reform UK."
"We have a golden opportunity to champion the issues that matter most to people - the cost of living, fixing the NHS and supporting our local high streets and businesses,"
"I've got a proven track record of delivering for residents and I'll continue to fight for the people of Gorton and Denton through this election and beyond."
Jackie Pearcey is the Liberal Democrat candidate for the Gorton and Denton by-election on 26 February in Greater Manchester, triggered by Andrew Gwynne's resignation on health grounds. Pearcey has lived locally for decades and has served as a governor at Oasis Academy Aspinal in Gorton for more than 20 years. She holds a doctorate in nuclear physics and campaigned to save Gorton Monastery from conversion into flats. Her campaign priorities include tackling the cost of living, fixing the NHS, and supporting local high streets and businesses. She cites a proven track record of delivering for residents and commits to continue fighting for Gorton and Denton.
