A police raid on his Falkirk home in February 2023 uncovered 15 images and 15 videos of extreme pornography created between February and May 2022, along with 18 still images and six videos of child sexual exploitation involving children aged four to ten. Deans claimed he received the images in a chat room and deleted them without sharing. He admitted viewing child abuse material after engaging in online sexual communication. Sentence was deferred for reports until April 22.
