Thomas, of Blaengwynfi, in the Afan Valley, whom the judge said had played a subordinate role to Berry, was given a 12-month sentence for possessing an imitation firearm, which he too had previously admitted."

Mills and Berry received 19-year terms for conspiracy to murder; additional concurrent and lesser sentences were imposed for related offences.
