"Operation Koine was launched in April last year following reports relating to the practices of the former A Milne Independent Funeral Directors in those areas. Police Scotland said officers from the force's Operation Koine team, with support from colleagues from North Wales, executed search warrants yesterday yat an address in the Flint area of north-east Wales. A 58-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were rearrested."
Operation Koine began in April of the previous year after reports concerning practices at the former A Milne Independent Funeral Directors. Police executed search warrants in the Flint area of north-east Wales with North Wales support, leading to the rearrest of a 58-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman. A 58-year-old woman was also rearrested in Bishopbriggs on the same day. All three have been charged and will be reported to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service. Police continue to seek information and are coordinating with Victim Support Scotland, including a December 5 drop-in clinic.
