Thousands of west London homes lose water supply due to burst main next to Holland Park roundabout
"We are aware of a burst water pipe by Holland Park roundabout, W11. A burst water main next to Holland Park roundabout has caused flooding and a loss of supply to thousands of homes Our team are on site and have stopped the water flooding in the area. We are working with the fire services and police to keep everyone safe. Traffic controls are also in place to protect the public."

In a message on the social mnedia platform X, Kensington and Chelsea council said the burst main has caused flooding and road closures."
Thames Water reported a burst water main by Holland Park roundabout (W11) that caused flooding and a loss of supply to thousands of homes across postcodes W1H, W4, W6, W8, W11, W12, W13 and W14. Repair teams are on site, have stopped the flooding, and are working with fire services and police while traffic controls protect the public. Tap water is returning but may be at lower pressure initially and will improve as pressure builds in the pipes. Local residents experienced very low flow and inability to flush. Kensington and Chelsea council deployed staff to support housing needs and prepare cleanup. Thames Water provided a support hotline.
