Despite the name's popularity in the US, New Zealand's Department of Internal Affairs rejected 38 applications for names like 'King,' 'Prince,' and 'Princess.' Officials advise parents to thoughtfully consider name choices, with 60,000 births registered last year. Parents may provide reasons for their selections, but final decisions rest with the Registrar General.
