Team GB finished 15th in the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics with five medals, equalling the totals from Sochi 2014 and Pyeongchang 2018. The delegation won a record three gold medals: Matt Weston in the individual skeleton and with Tabitha Stoecker in the mixed event; Charlotte Bankes and Huw Nightingale in mixed snowboard cross. Zoe Atkin won bronze in the women's halfpipe and the men's curling team secured silver. UK Sport performance director Kate Baker called it the most successful Games ever for Britain in medals and champions. The team recorded a record 24 top-10 finishes, with several near-misses highlighting fine margins.
