In a tragic incident in Dagenham, 76-year-old Robert Price died from injuries sustained in a fire ignited by fireworks. Nathan Otitodilchukwu, 18, and a 16-year-old have pleaded guilty to manslaughter. Although Otitodilchukwu did not throw the firework himself, he was part of the group that initiated the fire. The Old Bailey heard that a group threw a lighted flare into Price's home, leading to his death from inhalation of smoke and burns. Sentencing is scheduled for May, following delays from the initial hearing date.
