Teacher charged with sexually abusing juvenile inmate- and asking him to kill her husband

Elena Bardin, a 27-year-old teacher at a Kentucky juvenile detention center, has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a troubled inmate and soliciting him to murder her husband. The accusations came after a routine search revealed letters and explicit material sent by Bardin to the boy. Charges against her include solicitation of murder, first-degree sexual abuse, and distributing obscene matter to minors. The juvenile involved has not been charged with any crimes, and the investigation continues as further details remain unclear.

Evidence revealed that Ms. Bardin had subjected the juvenile to illegal sexual contact and provided him with sexually explicit images of herself.

The evidence also showed that she had solicited the same boy 'a male juvenile' to kill her husband.
