Weekend engineering work on the Brighton Mainline between Gatwick Airport, Redhill and Reigate, Purley and East Croydon is overrunning and causing disruption. Services are likely to be affected until the end of Monday, with only two of four lines between Gatwick and East Croydon available. Gatwick Express and Thameslink services between Brighton and Cambridge will be suspended and several peak Southern services will not run. Passengers are advised to check journey planners, allow extra time and expect short-notice changes. Monday-dated tickets will be valid for travel on Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express on Tuesday. Some Southern routes will run normally.
