Daniel Boakye, 21, a drill rapper known as dsavv, escaped from two hospitals in London within five days in February. He first fled West Middlesex University Hospital but was recaptured the next day. Five days later, he escaped again from Lewisham Hospital in south-east London and remains at large. While evading police, Boakye uploaded drill rap videos to social media, including lyrics boasting about his escapes and taunting law enforcement. He was originally sentenced to six years and five months in 2023 for participating in a robbery gang that used knifepoint threats to steal cryptocurrency and personal banking information. The Metropolitan Police continue actively searching for him and have appealed to the public for assistance.
