According to a report by Dr. Caroline Zwierzchowska-Dod, local hospitals, including Lister Hospital, Watford General Hospital, and Princess Alexandra Hospital, must address systemic safety concerns raised in recent CQC inspections. Notably, only 4% of NHS trusts were rated outstanding, signifying the need for enhanced care standards across the board.
Despite strides in improvement, all hospitals in Hertfordshire are still required to enhance their maternity services, indicating the necessity for systemic change in care quality.
