'Prince Harry told me I was being hacked' - Stephen Lawrence's mum
"was busy looking at his own case and then my name kept cropping up"
"so he felt that I should know about it"
"Why would anybody want to be listening to my calls, hacking into my phone? All I'm trying to do over the years, is to try and get justice for my son."
Baroness Doreen Lawrence says Prince Harry contacted her after uncovering evidence that she had been spied on by the Daily Mail. She met lawyers Anjlee Sangani and David Sherborne, who informed her that private investigators allegedly tapped her home phone and hacked her voicemails during inquiries into her son Stephen's 1993 murder. Baroness Lawrence expressed disbelief that anyone would want to listen to her calls while she sought justice for her son. She is suing Associated Newspapers at the High Court alongside Prince Harry, Sir Elton John and other public figures. Associated Newspapers denies the hacking claims, calling them "preposterous smears".
