In a recent BBC News interview, Prince Harry conveyed a willingness to reconcile with his father, King Charles III, amidst their ongoing disputes, particularly regarding security concerns. Harry, reflecting on the preciousness of life, mentioned uncertainty about his father's health. He criticized a recent court decision regarding security detail as biased and pointed out the control his father has over their situation. Harry also shared his affection for the U.K. and his sadness over not being able to show his children their heritage due to current circumstances.
"I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point in continuing to fight anymore ... life is precious," the Duke of Sussex said in a BBC News interview on May 2. "I don't know how much longer my father has."
"There is a lot of control and my ability in my father's hands. Ultimately, this whole thing could be resolved through him," he said. "Not necessarily by intervening but by stepping aside, allowing the experts to do what is necessary."
