Zara Lancashire, a 20-year-old worker at Flower Pots Day Nursery in Kings Langley, has appeared in court charged with sexually assaulting a child and multiple counts related to indecent images and publishing an obscene article via a chat application. She was arrested on Monday and appeared before Hatfield Magistrates' Court on Wednesday as part of an ongoing Hertfordshire Police investigation into child sexual offences. Police stated the investigation is being handled with seriousness and sensitivity and that parents and guardians will be contacted directly. Ofsted has suspended the nursery's registration, and the nursery group is cooperating with police and offering safeguarding support to families.
