The women's One-Day Cup begins 11 April with Lancashire at Durham; Worcestershire defend the men's One-Day Cup at home to Derbyshire on 24 July. The 18 first-class clubs voted to retain the 14-game County Championship format. Kookaburra mid-summer trials are abandoned and the Dukes ball will be used throughout the season.
