The mixed team skeleton is a new event that gives Weston a chance to win a second medal at the same Games. Weston will be paired with the fastest finisher among Tabby Stoecker, Freya Tarbit and Amelia Coltman; each teammate will make one run and combined time will count. The mixed event uses a reaction start with a half-second penalty for false starts. China, Austria and Germany are the strongest rivals.
