"Met Police were called to the property following reports of concern for the welfare of a woman inside. An investigation was launched and officers believe that Pepita had died the previous month. Dominic Whitton, 41 , of Reynardson Road, was charged on January 22 with preventing a lawful burial in connection with the investigation and remanded into custody. Whitton attended Wood Green Crown Court on Monday, October 6, where he was further charged with murder and manslaughter in connection with Pepita's death."

On 6 October at Wood Green Crown Court he was further charged with murder and manslaughter in connection with Sarikecili's death and pleaded not guilty. He is due to next appear at Wood Green Crown Court on 12 December.
