Man arrested after two women die five months apart
"A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after two women died in London five months apart. The Met Police said it had been unable to determine a cause of death for both Carmenza Trujillo, 53, who was found unresponsive in a building in Walworth in March, and Sheryl Wilkins, 39, who was also found unresponsive on a road in Tottenham in August."
"The force said it arrested the man on 1 April on suspicion of murder and he was released while the investigation into Ms Trujillo's death continued. He was then rearrested on 4 September after the death of Ms Wilkins. Det Ch Insp Neil John said his sympathy went to the families of both women, who continued to be supported by officers."
"On 24 August, Ms Wilkins was found unresponsive in High Road, Tottenham, the force said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Det Ch Insp John said: "No woman should feel unsafe in our city, and we know this news will cause concern across communities. Our investigation is continuing at pace and remains a priority. "I urge anyone who has information relating to either incident to contact us as soon as possible"."
