Liverpool Street station hosts railway photography and history display
Briefly

An exhibition of railway landscape photographs has opened in Liverpool Street station as part of the Railway 200 celebrations. The display is composed entirely of railway photography, a first for shows that previously featured winning Landscape Photographer of the Year images on a nationwide Network Rail tour. An updated exhibition on the history of Liverpool Street, originally created for the station's 150th birthday, has been added. The exhibition occupies the upper balcony space, repurposed from a planned Fuller's pub, and offers views over the platforms below. The display is small but suitable for short detours while waiting for trains and is family-friendly. The exhibition runs until Autumn 2025.
An exhibition of railway landscape photographs has opened in Liverpool Street station as part of the Railway 200 celebrations. In previous years, winning photos from the Landscape Photographer of the Year competition have been shown at Network Rail managed stations as part of a nationwide tour. This new display at Liverpool Street will, for the first time, be made up of entirely railway photography.
In addition, an exhibition on the history of Liverpool Street, originally put together for the station's 150th birthday last year has been updated and included in the exhibition. It's not a huge exhibition, but worthy of a short detour if you're waiting for a train, and especially if you have kids (or adults of a kiddish disposition).
