Lady Annabel Goldsmith died aged 91. She was mother to six children from two marriages and the namesake of the 1960s London nightclub Annabel's. Her children include Rupert, Robin, India Jane, Jemima, Zac and Ben, with Zac having served as Conservative MP for Richmond Park and Jemima formerly married to Imran Khan. Family members described her as irreplaceable and recalled close, long-standing personal bonds. She was born into an Anglo-Irish aristocratic family in 1934 and became Lady Annabel in 1949. She campaigned for countryside and animal causes and worked to lessen HIV/AIDS impacts on children in South Africa. She published memoirs in 2004.
