"The new Paddington musical has been adapted for the West End from the much-loved books by Michael Bond and hit films, with music and lyrics by McFly singer Tom Fletcher. It brings to life the famous bear through a two-person team of James Hameed as remote puppeteer controlling the expressions and delivering the voice, and Arti Shah as the on-stage performer."

Kate received posies from nine-year-old twins Emelia and Olivia Edwards, representing the charity. The programme included Paddington The Musical, Jessie J (who underwent a June mastectomy and postponed her autumn tour), Grammy-winning singer Laufey, Madness, and Sir Stephen Fry. The Paddington musical features music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher and a two-person performance team of James Hameed and Arti Shah. Jason Manford hosted, Johannes Radebe performed an extract from Kinky Boots, and a 400-performer Les Misérables medley marked its 40th anniversary.
