Ricky Hatton, the former world welterweight champion, was found dead at his home in Hyde, Greater Manchester, aged 46. Greater Manchester Police said there were no suspicious circumstances. His son Campbell posted family photos and paid an emotional tribute, describing their close bond, calling himself Hatton's double and saying he will miss their laughs and good times. Campbell followed his father into boxing, debuting professionally in 2021 and retiring earlier in 2024. Hatton's family issued a statement remembering him as a loving father, grandfather and brother, praising his kindness, humour, loyalty and status as one of boxing's greatest champions.
