Finchley man, 24, killed in 'single vehicle collision' in east London

Muhammed Emin Ozkan, 24, died at the Royal London Hospital on July 5 after a high-speed collision on the A13. He lost control of his car, crashed through barriers, and landed in a wooded area. An inquest into his death was opened, with Senior Coroner Graeme Irvine noting that his death was caused by multiple trauma. The police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving. The inquest has a target date of January 30, pending additional investigations by the Metropolitan Police.
An inquest was opened into his death at East London Coroner's Court. Senior coroner Graeme Irvine said Mr Ozkan had been the driver of a car involved in a high speed collision.
Mr Ozkan lost control of his vehicle on the A13 and crashed through barriers, coming to rest in a wooded area near the road.
He died days later of multiple organ failure, caused by multiple trauma. As Mr Ozkan's death was caused by injuries, it was referred to the coroner's court.
The Metropolitan Police Service said it was called to the A13 Newham Way just before 8:30pm on June 30, to a single vehicle collision.
