Daisy House: Family pay tribute to 'bright and beautiful' 16-year-old girl who died at London Tube station
"On Monday, our beautiful daughter Daisy lost her life. She was a bright, beautiful, clever, and funny girl who had just started Sixth Form and had her whole future ahead of her,"
"We would like to thank all of the emergency services and doctors who worked so hard to save her, especially the British Transport Police officer and paediatric nurses who treated us all with such kindness."
"We thank everyone who has sent best wishes, kind messages, and floral tributes. We would now ask for our privacy to be respected while we come to terms with the loss of our Daisy and what life will be like without our daughter."
Daisy House, a 16-year-old, was struck by a train at Loughton station on Monday afternoon and was later pronounced dead in hospital despite paramedics' efforts. Officers were called to the station shortly after 2.30pm following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Emergency responders rushed Daisy to hospital, where she subsequently passed away. Her family released a tribute and a photograph, describing her as bright, beautiful, clever and funny, and noting she had just started Sixth Form. The family thanked emergency services, doctors, a British Transport Police officer and paediatric nurses for their kindness and efforts. The family requested privacy as they grieve and come to terms with her loss.
