Hundreds of people were forced to leave Terminal 4 at about 17:00 BST on Monday, before being allowed back in at about 20:00. No hazardous materials were found but the Metropolitan Police discovered a can of CS spray and London Ambulance Service treated 20 people for "irritation"."
"The incident is not being treated as terrorism related, Scotland Yard said, and the 57-year-old suspect remains in police custody."
Terminal 4 at Heathrow Airport was partially evacuated on Monday night at about 17:00 BST, forcing hundreds of people to leave the terminal before they were allowed back in at about 20:00. No hazardous materials were found during searches of the area. Metropolitan Police discovered a can of CS spray at the scene.
