
"Dozens of antisemitic incidents were recorded in the immediate aftermath of the Manchester synagogue attack, a new report has revealed. Some even celebrated the incident, which took place in October, the report added. The Community Security Trust (CST), monitoring antisemitism in the UK, documented 40 incidents on the day of the attack and a further 40 the following day the highest daily totals recorded all year."
"Last October, worshippers Melvin Cravitz and Adrian Daulby were killed when 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie, a Syrian-born British citizen, drove into the gates of Heaton Park Synagogue in Crumpsall, Manchester. He then launched a knife attack, wearing a fake suicide belt. This marked the UK's first fatal antisemitic terror attack since the CST began recording incidents in 1984 (Peter Byrne/PA) The 2025 report was also the first time more than 200 cases of anti-Jewish hate were recorded in every calendar month."

The incident was the UK's first fatal antisemitic terror attack since 1984. CST recorded 3,700 anti-Jewish hate incidents in 2025, a 4 percent increase from 2024, with over 200 cases in every month.
