Genevieve Chenneour, known for portraying Clara Livingston in Netflix's Bridgerton, defended herself against a thief attempting to steal her phone at a Kensington cafe. The incident was captured on CCTV and sparked discussion after Chenneour shared her experience on This Morning. Chenneour revealed she had a sixth sense during the attack and used her training as a boxer to fight back, with her friend intervening. She later reflected on her actions, noting her quick reactions but also suggesting others might not react similarly in such situations.
"When I first saw it, it was shocking, because I don't even remember my reaction." Chenneour recounted the moment she fought off a thief stealing her phone.
"I think I have very quick reactions thanks to having three brothers growing up, and I'm an ABA-carded boxer. So, I think it just was like an instinct."
"I don't know if I would advise anybody else to do it. I mean, I don't know what came over me." Chenneour reflects on her instinctual reaction.
"I realized most people would have let their phone go." After reading comments, Chenneour reconsidered her reaction to the theft attempt.
