Briefly

A website has been launched that compiles all 293 known writing scripts globally, created by Johannes Bergerhausen. It features a reference glyph for each language, ordered chronologically from oldest to newest. Notably, new scripts like Toto, which serves the endangered language of the Toto people, are still emerging. This project is part of a broader initiative to identify writing systems not yet in Unicode, where 131 scripts are still unencoded, limiting their digital use. A silkscreen poster of all scripts is also available for enthusiasts.
This blew me away. A website collecting together every one of the current, 293 written scripts of the world.
What I found really surprising is that new scripts are still being developed, with the newest being Toto, created in 2015.
This website presents one reference glyph and basic information for each of the world's writing systems, marking a significant step in the Missing Scripts Project.
As of today, there are still 131 scripts not yet encoded in Unicode, indicating the ongoing need for representation of diverse languages.
