United Airlines passengers could miss their next flight if they don't follow this important new rule
Briefly

Starting June 3, United Airlines will enforce a new check-in policy for domestic travelers, requiring them to check in at least 45 minutes prior to departure. This aligns United with Delta and American Airlines, enhancing consistency in passenger experience. The previous cutoff was 30 minutes. While most processes remain unchanged, this adjustment affects both passengers with and without checked luggage. Travelers are encouraged to arrive at the airport well in advance and check in online or via the United app.
"The change brings greater consistency for our customers by aligning with our current checked baggage deadline and the check-in policies followed by most other airlines," a United Airlines spokesperson told Yahoo News.
"If travelers don't meet the check-in time limit, United employees will 'do our best to find another option,' but they also have the right to deny service."
