Southeastern will host an open day at its Ashford Train Depot on August 24th, allowing visitors to explore various trains and meet rail industry professionals. Attendees can expect to see high-speed and heritage trains, including the Clan Line steam engine and a selection of modern units like the Electrostar Fleet. The event features model railways and vendor stalls. Tickets are priced at £25 for adults and £15 for children. Proceeds support the event's costs and benefit five Railway 200 charities.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet people who work in a variety of roles at Southeastern and across the wider rail industry - from engineers and drivers to safety specialists and infrastructure experts.
