This Racing Mountain Coaster With Spirals, Helixes, and LED Night Rides Just Opened-and It's Perfect For Fall Foliage Views
"The Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster recently opened as the country's first side-by-side racing mountain coaster with speeds reaching up to 30 mph, according to organizers. The ride, which opened in June, raises the stakes compared to other traditional area mountain coasters thanks to two parallel tracks designed for head-to-head competition. The track is packed with thrills, featuring three 360-degree spirals, an 80-foot double helix, two uphill stretches, and a mid-race bridge that offers the perfect chance to size up your opponent"
""Bringing this racing alpine coaster to life has been a dream fueled by speed, innovation, and a love for adrenaline," Jessica McLeod said. "We've combined the thrill of motorsports with the beauty of the mountains to create an experience unlike anything else-and we can't wait for guests to Race the Mountain with us." To ride, passengers must be at least 3 years old and 38 inches tall to sit with someone who is at least 16 years old."
