"A luxury retreat is taking the guest experience to new heights. Famed Utah resort Amangiri will launch private flights to neighboring national parks for guests, making it easier to take in some of the region's most amazing natural sites, a spokesperson for Amangiri shared with Travel + Leisure. Guests of the resort will have the option to book a visit to Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, or Capitol Reef National Park. With these private jet flights, travelers will have the opportunity to visit each of the " Mighty 5" national parks in Utah as well as plan a trip to Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona during their stay."
""Each curated itinerary will enable our guests to explore the highlights of one of these iconic parks in a single day," Mario Bevilacqua von Gunderrode, Amangiri's general manager, said in a statement shared with T+L, adding, "Amangiri's seamless connection to the Colorado Plateau's untouched red rock country is an integral part of the overall guest experience at our resort.""
"When guests sign up, they will first board a turboprop aircraft aboard either a King Air 200 or a Pilatus PC-12 NG. The flights will depart from the Page Municipal Airport (PGA), which sits just under 30 minutes from the hotel. Each of the full-day itineraries head to a different national park and depart the property in the morning, around 8 a.m., returning to the resort just before 5 p.m. Flights typically last under one hour with each day trip including a guided four-hour ground tour. Guests who book a trip to Canyonlands National Park, for example, will fly straight to the Canyonlands Field Airport (CNY) just outside of Moab before gearing up for a day of hiking the Mesa Arch trail and making their way to incredible lookout points."
