Populus Seattle, which opened in late May after two years of construction, emphasizes regenerative design, an extensive art program, and community connections. Situated in the historic Westland Building in Pioneer Square, the hotel is part of the RailSpur initiative, which revitalizes the area through artistic engagement. Developed by Urban Villages, Populus aims to anchor the neighborhood culturally and aesthetically, providing guests with an immersive experience that honors Seattle's past while looking forward to its future.
We wanted to create a hotel that becomes part of the cultural and physical infrastructure of the area,
You're stepping into an experience that was designed to connect people to the city, to the past, to what's next,
