Copenhagen ranks second with the lowest unemployment at 2.6% but lower disposable income at $1,302. Amsterdam, Vienna, and Munich complete the top five. European cities dominate the rankings, with only two U.S. cities—Seattle and Boston—breaking the top ten. Zurich has held the title of world's smartest city for five consecutive years.
