Château de la Messardière sits on a hilltop in Saint-Tropez on 25 acres of manicured gardens and trees. Built in the late 19th century as a wedding present from cognac merchant Gabriel Dupuy d'Angeac to his daughter Louise, the property became a notorious Roaring '20s party hotspot before falling into disrepair. The château underwent restoration in 1989 with Jean-Claude Rochette blending Moorish, Mediterranean, Florentine, and Provençal influences. Airelles Collection acquired and renovated the estate in 2019, reopening in 2021 as a Palace-designated luxury resort.
