The Check-In: Park Hyatt Debuts in Mexico with Cabo del Sol Opening
"Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol has officially opened, marking the brand's debut in Mexico. The Baja California property stretches along the coastline of Cabo del Sol, featuring 163 rooms, including 88 suites and three private villas. The Los Cabos resort was designed by Mexican architect and interior designer Sordo Madaleno, alongside Paulina Morán and George Wong Design. Madaleno drew inspiration from historic Mexican architecture, reinterpreting courtyards, arcades, water features, and timber structures with a modern touch."
""Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol is inspired by the natural duality that defines Los Cabos: land and sea, openness and refuge, light and shadow - a sanctuary that offers a home away from home, where warmth, serenity, and the spirit of Baja come together in perfect harmony," said Madaleno, lead architect. Dining is set to be a highlight. Guests can enjoy Costamar, a beach club overlooking the Sea of Cortez, and Mesa Madre, a Mexican restaurant celebrating home-style family cooking."
