The Check-In: Aman-i-Khas Opens New Tented Accommodations
"Aman-i-Khas, set on the edge of India's Ranthambore National Park, has launched three new suites, expanding the intimate jungle camp to a total of 13 pavilions. The update includes the addition of two Grand Tented Pool Pavilions and one Tented Pool Pavilion, both of which feature private swimming pools. The Grand Tented Pool Pavilions are among the largest at the camp, measuring 2,755 sq-ft, with a temperature-controlled outdoor pool and a spacious open-air sun deck."
"Elegant Hotel Collection has announced The Shepherd Mayfair, an 82-key boutique hotel due to open in London later this year. The luxury hotel will revive one of Mayfair's earliest residential mansions, and interiors will take inspiration from 18th and early 19th-century Mayfair properties. "The hotel will feel as though it truly belongs in Mayfair. Our intention with the design was to create a feeling and character embedded in the neighbourhood, yet with its own distinct identity," says designer Timothy Shepherd."
Aman-i-Khas on the edge of Ranthambore National Park added three suites, bringing the camp to 13 pavilions. Two Grand Tented Pool Pavilions (2,755 sq-ft) include temperature-controlled outdoor pools, open-air sun decks, a king bedroom, central living area, and separate dining. A smaller Tented Pool Pavilion (1,770 sq ft) offers dining space and a sundeck with a plunge pool. The camp follows Aman’s minimalist aesthetic and provides safaris, access to ancient forts and villages, and Bengal tiger sightings. In London, The Shepherd Mayfair will open an 82-key boutique in a revived Mayfair mansion with interiors inspired by 18th- and early 19th-century properties, guest rooms across six floors, and a British brasserie named Fayre.
