"Until now, users could only view local bus stops based on their phone's location, but the map has been upgraded to cover all of London. Passengers can now browse any part of the city, tap on a stop and check live arrival times simply by moving around the map. TfL says the update will make it easier for people to plan connecting journeys while travelling on the Tube or rail, helping them decide which bus stop to head for next."
""Buses keep London moving, and the latest updates to TfL Go now make keeping up to date with them even easier. The introduction of these features makes it much easier to find travel information for bus stops anywhere in London, giving customers even more control and clarity when planning their journeys." The TfL Go app is available to download for free on iOS and Android from their app stores."
TfL Go has been upgraded to include detailed bus information across all of London instead of only showing local stops based on a phone's location. Users can pan the full-city map, tap any stop and see live arrival times, while disrupted or closed stops are clearly highlighted. The update aims to help passengers plan connecting journeys when travelling by Tube or rail and decide which stop to head for next. iOS users can view full bus routes on the map with Android route viewing in development. Planned additions include searching for and saving favourite stops. The free app launched in 2020 and has around 1.4 million monthly users and over ten million downloads, with earlier updates adding contactless/Oyster account access and in-app journey history viewing.
