My little rescue Jack Russell terrier, very much the centre of my universe, was attacked by a much bigger dog with a much stronger jaw. The injuries to her neck were life threatening. The stress almost unbearable. The sense of guilt and responsibility unavoidable."

The drive to Narberth proved effortless outside tourist season, providing comfort and calm that complemented the restorative aims of the stay.
