A 24-year-old man clung to the outside of a railjet train in Austria after it departed while he was having a cigarette break on the platform. The train, traveling from Zurich to Vienna, performed an emergency stop when the man began banging on windows to gain attention. After being rescued, he was taken on board and later led away by police upon arrival in Vienna. Austrian railways spokesperson Herbert Hofer emphasized the dangers of such actions, noting that it could have deadly consequences for both the individual and rescuers.
