"A Londoner has flown from the capital to Morocco to get his hair cut as he claims it's cheaper than going locally. Muscab Salad, 22, was looking for a new haircut before flying to Barcelona and wanted a better price than the 41 he usually pays. He said that since Arab countries are known for their barbers he decided to take a look at flights on Skyscanner, spotted one to Morocco and snapped it up for 15."
""I was happy with the result, it was just as good [as haircuts back home]. I'd recommend [as] you get a free holiday. I think it's fun, it's way cheaper and you get more of an experience. Barbers are associated with Arab countries... so you should definitely do that, you get an experience out of it. Some people were surprised about how this was possible. They have very different income levels, it's just a better deal to go to Morocco."
Muscab Salad, 22, traveled from west London to Marrakech to get a haircut after finding a £15 flight on Skyscanner. The trip included a £6 taxi and a £10 hostel, and the haircut cost £8, bringing the Morocco total to £39. A typical London haircut costs £35 plus £6 travel, totaling £41. Muscab was initially nervous because he is loyal to his London barber but was pleased with the result and recommended the experience for value and cultural exposure. He noted minor language barriers and continued to Barcelona afterwards.
